MY VAX RECORD APP HELP

    Page Directory:

    Add Name
    Add Vax Data
    Add Card, QR Code, ID Images
    Change Title

    Add Name

    After reading the opening Welcome Screen, you will go to the NAME MANAGER screen.

    It is very simple here, just enter your First, Middle Initial, and Last names in the correct boxes.
    Then tap ADD NAME, then DONE at the top to go to the main screen.

    To edit your name, come back to this screen, edit the info, then tap ADD NAME again.

    Add Vax Data

    In the main screen, tap APP SETTINGS
    Select VAX DATA

    To add a data item:

    1. Tap Jab Number and select appropriate injection number
    2. Tap Company and select vaccine company
    3. Enter the Lot Number
    4. Tap the Date Picker and select the date of the jab
    5. Tap ADD DATA
    6. Repeat for your second and subsequent jabs
    7. Tap DONE at the top to return to the main screen

    Add Images

     Add Vax Card Image

    1. In the main screen, tap ‘Picture 1’ button
    2. Tap the settings, upper-right, select: Change Picture
    3. Navigate to your picture gallery and select the vax card picture
    4. Again, tap settings and select: Change page and home button text
    5. Type in desired text (eg. My Vax Card)

    2. Add QR Code Image

    1. In the main screen, tap ‘Picture 2’ button
    2. Tap the settings, upper-right, select: Change Picture
    3. Navigate to your picture gallery and select your QR code image (downloaded from your health agency site)
    4. Again, tap settings and select: Change page and home button text
    5. Type in desired text (eg. QR Code)

    3. Add Personal ID or other image

    1. In the main screen, tap ‘Picture 3’ button
    2. Tap the settings, upper-right, select: Change Picture
    3. Navigate to your picture gallery and select a picture of your desired ID
    4. Again, tap settings and select: Change page and home button text
    5. Type in desired text (eg. MY ID)

    Image Editing

    Take a nice picture with your phone of your vaccine card and/or ID.  Try and fill up the entire camera window with the card. You can then go the the photo gallery, tap on the image, and edit it if desired.

    Each device has a great mechanism for photo editing.
    Here are some quick steps to get you started!

    Android (per Galaxy S8)

    1. In the Gallery or Photo folder, tap on the card image
    2. Click on the ‘Pencil’ icon
    3. To crop, tap the ‘Crop’ icon and move the handles as needed
    4. To rotate, drag the horizontal slider as needed
    5. When done, tap SAVE

    iPhone (per iPhone 7)

    1. In the Photo folder, tap on the card image
    2. At the upper-right, tap EDIT
    3. Tap the combo ‘Rotate and Crop’ icon and make your changes
    4. At the upper-left is a 45 Degree rotate icon button if needed
    5. When done, tap DONE

    Change Main Page Title

    My Vax Record is shipped with the default title of: My Vax Record
    You may wish to change it to the title of your received vaccination

    In the main screen, tap APP SETTINGS
    Select CHANGE TITLE

    1. Enter desired title
    2. Tap ADD TITLE
    3. Tap DONE at the top to return to the main screen
